Xiaomi confirmed the presence of Snapdragon 855 + in Black Shark 2 Pro and promised other advantages
A few days ago, Qualcomm announced a new Snapdragon 855+ single-chip system, which is an improved version of Snapdragon 855. Shortly thereafter, ASUS announced that its ROG Phone 2 will be the first smartphone to use the new chip. Now, Xiaomi has officially announced that the Black Shark 2 Pro smartphone, which will be released on July 30, will also receive SD855 +, as indicated in the rumors.
Compared to Snapdragon 855, the new platform will essentially receive two key updates. The chip includes Kryo 485 CPU cores with clock speeds up to 2.96 GHz (it reached 2.84 GHz for Snapdragon 855). In addition, the performance of the graphics accelerator Adreno 640 increased by another 15%.

In addition, Black Shark Technology Executive Director Wu Shimin announced that Black Shark 2 Pro will be able to force Qualcomm 855+ to provide the highest gaming performance thanks to a unique liquid cooling system and performance improvement program.
More importantly, the sensor response rate in Black Shark 2 Pro will also be significantly increased. Wu Shimin said that in the first generation of this series of smartphones, the response time to the touch reached 43.5 ms, which remains the best indicator in the industry to this day. However, in the new product, this parameter will be much better.
Recall: gaming smartphone Xiaomi Black Shark 2 was introduced in March of this year, having received a Snapdragon 855 chip, a 6.39-inch Full HD + display with a resolution of 2340 × 1080 pixels. The amount of RAM is 6, 8 or 12 GB, and the capacity of the drive – 128 or 256 GB. A dual rear camera with 48-megapixel sensors for the main f / 1.8 lens and 12 megapixels for the f / 2.2 telephoto lens was also available. It seems that these basic parameters will be saved in the Pro version.
