The flagship Motorola Edge + appeared in the Geekbench base with a Snapdragon 865 chip and 12 GB of RAM
A few days ago, a render appeared on the Internet, supposedly showing the design of the future flagship smartphone Motorola Edge Plus. Now the device was seen in the base of the popular Geekbench benchmark, due to which some characteristics of the device became known.
The smartphone was tested under the name “Motorola Moto edge plus”. Despite the fact that there are no specific indications of the chip used, it can be said with great certainty that the hardware basis of the smartphone is the Qualcomm Snapdragon 865 single-chip system.
This assumption is confirmed by the nominal frequency of operation of the 8-core chip, which is 1.8 GHz, and indicators obtained during testing in single-core and multi-core modes (4106 points and 12 823 points, respectively). The productive processor is complemented by 12 GB of RAM. As a software platform, Android 10 is used.

Unfortunately, more detailed information on the specifications and design of the Motorola Edge + smartphone is not yet available. A previously published render says that the smartphone will receive a display with a hole for the front camera, and will also support pen control, which has not been used in Motorola smartphones since the production of devices on Windows Phone.
It is also known that Motorola Edge Plus will be equipped with a stylus as the Samsung Galaxy Note10 smartphone has. rumors claimed that the Galaxy Note10 is a little bit in trouble because a powerful competitor coming to the smartphone market.
The appearance of Motorola Edge + in the benchmark may indicate that the official presentation of the device will take place soon. It is possible that the developers will announce a new flagship at the annual exhibition MWC 2020, which will be held in Spain at the end of next month.
