Sunfish – Codename Google Pixel 4a with Snapdragon 730 processor without 5G
In the past few weeks, we’ve come across three code names that seem to refer to Google Pixel devices under development: Sunfish, Redfin, and Bramble. Thanks to reliable informant @OnLeaks in the past, it became known that Google is working on a mid-range Pixel 4a smartphone. But so far there has been no convincing evidence that would link the code names listed to specific marketing names.
However, XDA-Developers discovered code that directly correlates Google Pixel 4a with the code name Sunfish. Thus, it is known that the smartphone will be based on the Qualcomm Snapdragon 730 mobile platform, and, therefore, will not receive 5G communication support.

But there is still a chance that Redfin, Bramble, or both will be part of the Pixel 4a series with the Qualcomm Snapdragon 765 single-chip system that supports 5G. However, apart from these two code names, there is no definite evidence of the existence of at least one other Pixel 4a model.
Thanks to @OnLeaks, it’s known that the Pixel 4a will have a 5.7-5.8 “screen with a single camera hole, a 3.5 mm headphone jack, a USB-C port, a rear fingerprint scanner, and a single rear camera. Pixel 3a was an extremely successful product for Google, and if the company played cards correctly, the Pixel 4a could be its next success.
