Samsung Galaxy Z Fold 3 concepts based on the company’s patents. Samsung was one of the first to master the foldable form factor in smartphones and will continue to hone its craft in creating devices with flexible displays.
The company’s multiple patents describing the features of future Galaxy Z Fold foldable gadgets are quite applied in nature and show what the future devices might be like.

Resources Pigtou and xleaks took Samsung’s patent documentation as a basis and visualized what the company’s future foldable devices might look like. We were shown the Galaxy Z Fold in two variants, which are similar in that they get a foldable design that folds in two places. In the first case, a smartphone with a large flexible matrix divided into three parts is shown.
The “flaps” on the right and left are able to bend so as to converge in the center of the large display and close it. Moreover, the right side was equipped with an additional external display with a front camera, and on the left, the main camera was installed with four vertically positioned sensors.
The second version of the Galaxy Fold version repeats the first one according to the folding principle, but with one difference – one of the halves bends not inward, but outward, and in this version, the device resembles an accordion or a Z-shaped structure.
This design avoids the need to install an additional display on the outside of the gadget, but on the other hand increases the risk of damage that can be inflicted on the flexible matrix, especially at the bend.

According to another source, Samsung Galaxy Z Fold 3 will get a stylus storage compartment, like the Galaxy Note.
Reputable insider Ross Young has released fresh details on Samsung’s upcoming foldable flagship smartphone. We are talking about the Galaxy Z Fold 3, which will have a number of notable differences from the Z Fold 2. Young says that the screens of both modifications of the Z Fold 3 will be more compact than its predecessor.
The insider claims that this will be done in order to make room in the body for the S-Pen stylus. Samsung has already confirmed that this accessory will no longer be exclusive to the Galaxy Note series. Its support is expected in the Galaxy S21 Ultra, but this device will not receive a dedicated stylus compartment.
The Galaxy Z Fold 3’s internal display is reportedly going to shrink from 7.59 inches to 7.55 inches. The external screen will receive a diagonal of 6.21 inches instead of 6.23 inches, so the matrix sizes will be reduced only slightly.

Among other things, Young said that the screens of smartphones Galaxy Z Flip 3 and Z Flip Lite, on the contrary, will slightly increase compared to its predecessors. Their diagonal will be 6.7 inches versus 6.67 inches. In addition, these devices will use an LTPO panel with a 120 Hz refresh rate.
Other phone specifications, features, and exact launch date and prices are not officially disclosed.
