The series will include three models – Galaxy S21, Galaxy S21 +, and Galaxy S21 Ultra. Today, the popular tech insider Ice universe, who regularly discloses reliable information about upcoming new products from the mobile world, shared new details about the Galaxy S21 Ultra model.
It is claimed that the senior representative of the new family will receive a high-quality screen based on low-temperature polycrystalline oxide (LTPO). The panel will be applied in WQHD / 1440p format with a refresh rate of 120 Hz.
Obviously, users will be able to lower this indicator for the sake of reducing power consumption. The display is rumored to be 6.8 inches diagonally; it will be framed by narrow frames of approximately the same width on all sides.
It is also reported that the screen of the other two members of the family, Galaxy S21 and Galaxy S21 +, will be able to operate in 1080p / 120 Hz or 1440p / 60 Hz modes.
The insider also confirmed that the smartphone will receive a screen with approximately the same frames on all sides, support for 45-watt wired charging, and a 108-megapixel Samsung ISOCELL HM3 image sensor with ISOCELL 2.0 technology. This technology will offer increased light sensitivity compared to the ISOCELL Plus technology used in the ISOCELL HM2.
Earlier Ice Universe added that the Samsung Galaxy S21 Ultra will not have a time-of-flight camera, and the pixel size will remain 0.8 microns.
Judging by these renders, the smartphone received a small diameter front camera embedded in the central upper part of the screen. The main camera uses four image sensors. On the right side of the smartphone are the power and volume buttons.
