The camera is always a factor that Samsung focuses on investing in every time a new product comes out, Samsung S23 Ultra is not an exception. However, Samsung currently does not have a sensor called ISOCELL HP2. They only have ISOCELL HP1 and ISOCELL HP3, both of which are sensors with resolutions up to 200MP.
Therefore, ISOCELL HP2 can be positioned between ISOCELL HP1 and ISOCELL HP3. HP1 and HP3 use 0.64μm and 0.56μm pixels and HP2 can have 0.60μm pixels.
Some sources believe that the Samsung S23 Ultra may launch with a 45MP camera, if true, this is a safe step for Samsung when some brands are preparing to launch smartphones with a 200MP camera.
In addition, the latest reports from Galaxy Club confirm that Samsung has no plans to upgrade the telephoto zoom camera on the Galaxy S23 Ultra. The company still uses the same 10MP telephoto zoom camera on the Galaxy S23 and Galaxy S23+.
As previously reported, Samsung may equip a 200MP main camera for the Galaxy 23. However, it is predicted that this super camera will only appear on the most advanced Galaxy S23 Ultra smartphone, the Galaxy S23 and S23 Plus will still be using a 108MP camera sensor.
It is also reported that Samsung may be working on a new stacked battery design to increase density and reduce battery size. It is also rumored that the new Samsung Galaxy S23 Ultra is expected to have a battery capacity of 5500mAh or more, the Galaxy S23+ has a 5000mAh battery, and the standard Galaxy S23 model has a 4500mAh battery with more faster-charging speed.
According to Samsung’s schedule, Galaxy S23 Ultra will be released in February 2023, there is still a lot of time so we will wait and see how Samsung will decide.
