The video shows a profile of future smartphones, a periscope-like camera, a new 5nm flagship Exynos chip, an emphasis on photo and video capabilities. Three new Galaxy S21 smartphones are expected to be unveiled at the event: the S21 and S21 Plus models will be very similar in specs except for size, while the S21 Ultra variant will supposedly get a better camera in addition to a curved display and support for a digital S-Pen.
Due to numerous leaks, the characteristics of new products, in fact, are not a secret. The Galaxy S21 will allegedly receive a 6.2-inch AMOLED Full HD + display with a 120 Hz refresh rate, while the Galaxy S21 Plus will have a 6.7-inch diagonal at the same resolution and frequency.
The Galaxy S21 Ultra will get a 6.8-inch QHD + screen with a frequency update of 120 Hz. Versions of smartphones for the US market and South Korea will receive a single-chip system Snapdragon 888, while the rest of the countries will use the Samsung Exynos 2100.
The Galaxy S21 and S21 + will have the same set of rear camera sensors. Smartphones will be able to boast a main 12-megapixel module with an f / 1.8 aperture, a 12-megapixel camera with ultra-wide-angle f / 2.2 optics, and a 64-megapixel sensor with an f / 2.0 telephoto lens.
The front camera will be represented by a 10-megapixel sensor with an aperture of f / 2.2. The advanced model Galaxy S21 Ultra will receive a main 108-megapixel module with an f / 1.8 aperture, an ultra-wide-angle 12-megapixel f / 2.2, and two 10-megapixel telephoto modules with a resolution of 10 megapixels and apertures of f / 2.4 and f / 4. nine. The front-facing 40-megapixel camera of the smartphone will receive an aperture of f / 2.2.
In addition to smartphones, the company is also expected to introduce the Galaxy Buds Pro wireless earbuds to compete with Apple’s AirPods Pro. They will come with a wireless charging case in three colors, active noise cancellation, and support for spatial audio.
And one more expected novelty – Galaxy SmartTags. They can be attached to a wallet, keys, or any other item in order to track them in case of loss. Galaxy SmartTags will cost from $ 20 to $ 30 and will compete with similar Tile tags.
