The Chinese company OnePlus will present its main smartphones OnePlus 8 and 8 Pro of the year in only a few months, but now the devices have passed 5G certification. This confirms the imminent announcement of devices.
Thanks to the Chinese telecommunications regulator TENAA, we now know that both smartphones will receive support for fifth-generation networks. Moreover, obtaining certification ensures that the devices must be presented within six months from the date of its receipt, otherwise it becomes invalid. However, the device announcement will take place much earlier, usually, OnePlus will conduct its presentation in May, so we can expect that this year the company will not change its tradition.
The OnePlus 8 and 8 Pro are expected to receive a Snapdragon 865 processor with an integrated 5G modem. They will have 8/12 GB of RAM recently announced standard LPDDR5. In the normal version, there will be a triple module of the main camera, and the Pro version will receive an additional 3D ToF sensor. The diagonal of the displays will be 6.5 inches, they will have an AMOLED matrix, QHD + resolution and a frame refresh rate of 120 Hz.

There are also rumors that the inexpensive OnePlus 8 Lite will be introduced. It will run on a fairly powerful processor MediaTek Dimensity 1000. This is not a flagship processor, but it is quite powerful. The diagonal of the sub-flag is 6.4 inches, and the resolution is FullHD +.
Expensive Xiaomi Mi 10 will not be greeted. New OnePlus flagships debut on April 15. OnePlus 8 Pro already shone today in the photo.
The OnePlus 8 Pro smartphone, seen today in the hands of Robert Downey Jr., is reported to be released April 15th. This is in good agreement with previous data that the new product will debut in the second week of April.
In addition to the older model, we should be shown OnePlus 8 and even OnePlus 8 Lite, and the latter remains a dark horse for now. According to rumors, it will be based on the MediaTek platform, which is unlikely to please fans of OnePlus.
As for the OnePlus 8 Pro, it is credited with a 120-hertz display with a diagonal of 6.65 inches, SoC Snapdragon 865 and a battery with a capacity of 4500 mAh with support for 30-watt charging.
This year, the situation with the OnePlus news will be very interesting, since, among other things, these smartphones will have to compete with the flagships of Xiaomi. Although, rather, Xiaomi’s flagships will now have to compete with OnePlus devices, and given the significantly increased cost of the former, it will be interesting to see which smartphones turn out to be better and more popular.
