Before Google Pixel 4 and Pixel 4 XL is still about four months, but today, the creator of FrontTech on YouTube, John Prosser (Jon Prosser) has released new information about the flagship series, which tells about a soon change.

New Google Pixel 4 Leak confirmed Punch-Hole Front Camera and Total Lack of Physical Buttons

According to Prosser report, Google’s Pixel 4 series will skip all physical keys in favor of a continuous aluminum frame. Instead of using the power and volume keys, Pixel 4 and Pixel 4 XL debuted with a series of capacitive touch alternatives to the right.

The reason for this significant change has not been disclosed, but this may be due to an existing function. Like previous generations, the Pixel 4 series is expected to support Google’s Active Edge compressible frame. In the current form, the function is limited to certain areas of the aluminum frame, in which the physical buttons do not interfere. However, by replacing these keys with capacitive alternatives, the Internet giant could extend this function to the entire side of the device.

Regardless of Google’s considerations, such large-scale changes will surely come under serious criticism. Many argue that this is also unlikely, but according to Prosser, the source of the information is trustworthy, although this leak should be fixed with a regular pinch of salt.

For those of you who don’t know, Prosser last month provided a steady stream of data with accurate information about Pixel 3 and Pixel 3 XL a month before launch. In addition, he confirmed the existence of pixel 3a and pixel 3a XL above all others.

Stereo bottom speakers and punch hole screen camera seem very likely

In addition to the above details, the source of John Prosser also confirmed a number of recent leaks and rumors. In particular, he checked the presence of the camera cut-out on the Pixel 4 display and the subsequent absence of a notch.

The new display is combined with a uniform frame and extremely thin chin. However, Google reportedly supports the stereo speaker configuration for front speakers, which can be found in the Pixel 2 and Pixel 3 formats.

All this seems to be accompanied by a new fingerprint scanner on the display, which will replace the one that is installed on the back panel of current Pixel devices. Unfortunately, it is currently unclear whether Google has chosen an optical scanner or a higher-quality ultrasonic sensor, such as the Samsung Galaxy S10.

Elsewhere on the flagship of Pixel 4 should be a new dual camera on the back. It is currently unclear whether Google will match its second sensor with a telephoto lens or an ultra-wide-angle camera, but according to rumors, the installation will be aligned horizontally in the upper left corner rather than vertically, as happens in many modern smartphones.

Google Pixel 4 phone specifications, features and release date

Like the Galaxy S10, LG G8 ThinQ and OnePlus 7 Pro, the Google Pixel 4 series is expected to come with a Qualcomm Snapdragon 855. This chip should have 128 GB of memory and for the first time 6 GB of RAM, only 4 GB.

As you would expect from a Google smartphone, Pixel 4 and Pixel 4 XL comes with the latest version of Android. In this case, it should be Android 10 Q – an update is expected in August.

Other expected features include IP68 protection against water and dust, a larger battery with faster charging and support for 4G LTE networks. Google is probably preparing its first 5G smartphones, but it is unlikely that the 5G connection will fall into the Pixel 4 line.

For publication, Pixel 4 and Pixel 4 XL is likely to be announced in the second week of October. It is assumed that pre-orders will begin on the same day before publication next week.
