Almost every year, before the latest Apple iPhones become official, it is reported that the Cupertino technology team will use displays for LG smartphones. Last year, reports said Apple will get organic panels for the iPhone from South Korean company. However, they were wrong after the launch of smartphones. Now we have received a new report from South Korea stating that the iPhone 11 series of OLED displays have appeared on the LG display. Please see below for more information.

It is now known that Apple is fighting Samsung for outstanding display orders. While the Korean manufacturer has invested heavily in producing systems for iPhone displays, Apple’s sales problems with the legendary smartphone have led to lower orders for technology giant Cupertino. As a result, Samsung’s funds are underutilized and the company is not sure whether Apple will be able to fulfill its promised orders. As a result, both companies conflict with each other.
This friction is also compounded by the fact that Apple has begun to look for alternative suppliers for iPhone displays. The company is testing panels manufactured by the Chinese BOE, and the Korean press today claims that LG has released mass-produced iPhone 11 display panels.
According to JOINS, LG Display will account for about 10% of Apple’s display orders, since most of its orders will continue to go to Samsung due to production capacity. LG panels have lower performance than Samsung panels, so they need to push more material through their objects to meet Apple demand. Tests of LG OLED panels were conducted last year.
For iPhone 11 and iPhone 11 Max displays, Apple should use the Samsung M9 display material option called LT2. LT2 was developed by Samsung specifically for Apple. The decline in Apple display orders has led to an over-expansion of these key reporting sources. LT2 is similar to the organic panels on the iPhone XS and iPhone XS Max. Therefore, we believe that Apple smartphones will not change much in terms of display quality.
