The final design of LG V60 ThinQ 5G showed on the “live” video

Introduced LG V60 ThinQ 5G – the flagship that will be forgotten as quickly as possible? There are nice features here, but there is nothing new or the best. LG has just unveiled the V60 ThinQ 5G smartphone. The smartphone was expected to be better than its predecessor in everything, but, most likely, it will face the same fate as many previous LG flagships.

Even before the announcement of the flagship smartphone LG V60 ThinQ, insiders managed to get a press render of the future news, and recently a video appeared on the Internet demonstrating the commercial model of the gadget. A new leak allows you to evaluate the appearance of a model with a quad camera and a classic audio jack, without waiting for a presentation.

A short video sequence confirms previous publications – on the back cover of the gadget is a horizontally located main camera module with four sensors and an LED flash. The self-sensor was located in the area of a small cut-out on the display, which came to replace the wide “fringe” characteristic of previous models of the line. As previously reported, the device retained a 3.5 mm headphone jack at the bottom of the case.

On paper, everything looks great. The smartphone received an SoC Snapdragon 865, OLED screen with a diagonal of 6.8 inches with a resolution of Full HD + and a battery with a capacity of 5000 mAh.

True, the main camera is only dual with sensors with a resolution of 64 and 13 megapixels. Front camera resolution – 10 megapixels.

Also, the smartphone is equipped with 8 GB of RAM and 128 GB of flash memory with expandable microSD cards. Among the additional features, it is worth highlighting the presence of a 32-bit DAC (Quad DAC), stereo speakers, four microphones, Wi-Fi 6 support and protection against water and dust (IP68).

Like previous models of the V line, the novelty received a proprietary Dual Screen case with a second screen that fully matches the display parameters of the smartphone. True, unlike last year’s flagship, the additional screen does not have its own battery, so the design is connected to the smartphone via USB-C.

As a result, on the one hand, we have a smartphone with a flagship platform and a number of pleasant features, on the other hand, the amount of RAM is far from record, the screen resolution is worse than that of a number of other flagships, the frames are far from the narrowest, and there is no “telephoto” in the main camera.

The price has not yet been announced, but the smartphone will obviously still be as expensive, so it is likely that they will be quickly forgotten about it. The exact date of the announcement and the price of the smartphone by the manufacturer have not yet been announced.
