LG introduced two budget smartphones K8 and K10 (2018)
The company LG Electronics has presented to the exhibition MWC 2018, which will be held in Barcelona from February 26 to March 1, updated smartphones LG K8 and LG K10 entry-level.
Last year, LG announced the K10 (2017) at the January CES show in Las Vegas, but the CES 2018 did not debut the heir, as the US is not among the major regions for the proliferation of inexpensive smartphones from the Korean manufacturer. Both models are planned for release in Europe, Asia, Latin America, the Middle and the Middle East.
Smartphones retained the design with rounded edges, the usual display ratio, and single cameras.
LG K10 Plus 2018 Specifications
The LG K10 (2018) is equipped with a 5.3-inch display with HD resolution (720 x 1280 pixels), a fingerprint scanner on the rear panel, a 13-megapixel main camera and a front camera for 8 or 5 megapixels, depending on the region.
Hardware base was an unnamed 8-core processor with a clock speed of 1.5 GHz, 2 GB of operating and 16 GB of internal flash memory with the ability to expand microSD cards up to 2 TB. The battery has a capacity of 3000 mAh.
LTE, Wi-Fi (802.11 b, g, n), Bluetooth 4.2, NFC and FM-radio are supported. The work is based on Android 7.1.2 Nougat. Dimensions are 148.7 x 75.3 x 8.68 mm, weight – 162 grams.
The base model LG K10 has two variations – Alpha and Plus. The K10 α version got cameras simpler – at 8 and 5 megapixels, and K10 + – 3 GB of operational and 32 GB of built-in flash memory.
LG K8 (2018) features a 5-inch display, a quad-core processor at 1.3 GHz, an 8-megapixel main and a 5-megapixel front camera, a 2500 mAh battery. He did not receive a fingerprint scanner and NFC. The dimensions are 146.3 x 73.2 x 8.2 mm, weight – 152 grams.
