Informed informants report that most of the information on the Huawei P50 series is currently circulating on the network. However, they confirm that Huawei P50 smartphones already support Huawei Harmony OS 2.0 Beta and are preparing for the third beta version of Huawei’s new proprietary operating system.
Sources also report that the Huawei P50 is not the first smartphone on which the new Huawei Harmony OS 2.0 will be available. However, it will be the first smartphone to have this operating system available right out of the box.
Earlier, Huawei CEO Yu Chengdong promised that Huawei’s flagship mobile phones will be progressively upgraded to Huawei Harmony OS 2.0 from April.
Wang Chenglu, president of Huawei’s consumer software division, said the new operating system will be installed on 300 million devices this year, including the company’s 200 million smartphones and partner gadgets.
It is also reported that Huawei Harmony OS has been in development since May 2016, while the new operating system is not a clone of Android.
Yesterday, the first images of Huawei’s new flagship were released, which is similar to the Xiaomi Mi 11 Ultra.
On the other hand, the Live photo showcases the tiny bezels of the Huawei P50 Pro screen.
The Chinese social network Weibo has published the first spy photo of the protective glass for the flagship smartphone Huawei P50 Pro, which confirms that the screen of the device will be slightly curved at the sides, and its bezels at the top and bottom will be very narrow.
The source also reported that the HuaweiP50 Pro will have a single front-facing camera located at the top center of the screen. Previously, the manufacturer used a dual selfie camera in the upper left corner.
At the moment, the Huawei P50 series is already ready for mass production – it will include the Huawei P50, Huawei P50 Pro and P50 Pro + models. The basic version will be equipped with the Kirin 9000E mobile platform, and the older versions will be equipped with the Kirin 9000.
In addition, the younger version will have a 6.1-inch display, while the HuaweiP50 Pro and P50 Pro + will receive a 6.6-inch and 6.8 -inch panel, respectively. Of course, the top cameras should be the main advantages of the Huawei P50 Pro and P50 Pro + compared to competitors.
The global version of the HuaweiP50 is expected to be equipped with EMUI 11.1, while the Chinese version will receive HarmonyOS. Huawei P50 smartphones already support Huawei Harmony OS 2.0 Beta and are preparing for the release of the third beta version of the new proprietary Huawei operating system.
