Oppo Find X2 Lite 5G vs Huawei P40 Lite 5G. Two very successful models of smartphones that have entered the global market recently, represent the middle price segment. Among other things, gadgets offer support for the 5th generation of mobile communications, which is not yet relevant in our country. However, the device released by Huawei costs 100 euros cheaper.
This price gap is due not only to the lack of support for Google services that are trying to replace Huawei Mobile Services applications but also to a number of specifications. Let’s take a closer look at these two devices in order to determine which one corresponds to the best value for money.
Starting a comparison with the appearance of the devices, it is worth noting that the Huawei P40 Lite 5G has a more modern-looking screen with a round slot for installing the front camera. The fact is that it is this type of display that turned out to be in the trend of the current year.

On the other hand, the Oppo Find X2 Lite 5G, having a drop-shaped cutout on the front panel, as a whole represents a more compact, beautiful, minimalistic, thinner, and lighter smartphone than its opponent.
In addition, the display of the Oppo device is implemented on an AMOLED matrix, therefore, it consumes less energy, offers richer colors and deeper black. The only thing his opponent can boast here is the support for HDR technology.
Turning to the consideration of the hardware component, it should be noted that the device Huawei P40 Lite 5G received a better chipset by its specifications than its opponent.
As the results of synthetic tests of three well-known benchmarks showed, the Kirin 820 processor installed in the P40 Lite 5G smartphone surpasses its opponent’s chipset. On the other hand, the Find X2 Lite 5G device received 2 GB of RAM more but does not have a chance to increase the built-in memory capacity, and the P40 Lite 5G device provides this opportunity through a slot for installing memory cards.
Comparing the main cameras, the Huawei P40 Lite 5G and Oppo Find X2 Lite 5G in my opinion offer the same specifications. Where one has an advantage in resolution, the other immediately has an advantage in the aperture. The only thing the device from Oppo is slightly better is its front camera, the sensor of which has a higher resolution than that of the opponent with the same aperture.
Paying attention to devise batteries, I also can not highlight the best. On the one hand, Oppo Find X2 Lite 5G received a battery with a capacity of 4025 mAh versus 4000 mAh from the opponent. But the opponent supports both fast chargings of 40 watts and reverse charging, and the Oppo battery only fast charging and then 30 watts. If we talk about superior functionality, it is precisely in comparison to these specifications that the smartphone battery from Huawei looks more attractive.
And so we got to the prices. Huawei P40 Lite 5G on the global market offer for 399 euros, and his opponent, as noted at the very beginning, costs 100 euros more expensive – 499 euros. As a result, these 100 euros include support for Google services, a more energy-efficient AMOLED screen, and an additional 2 GB of RAM, but the user is deprived of the opportunity to increase the amount of permanent memory and gets a less efficient chipset.
