Despite a recent ban on sales in the US, Huawei has managed to maintain its leadership in the Samsung market as the second-largest handset manufacturer in the world. Research firm Strategy Analytics published the news in its last 2 quarter of 2019: Huawei Surge in China, report on falling overseas on Monday. The new upcoming flagship smartphone Huawei Mate 30 and Mate 30 Pro will be the most stunning phones of 2019.
Studies show that in the second quarter of 2019, Huawei managed to maintain a 17% share in the global smartphone market, despite a U.S. executive order against it. The U.S. order was issued by the White House in May, an order that forced numerous technology companies, including Google, Intel, Microsoft, ARM, and Intel, to weaken ties with Huawei.
The Google block was particularly bad, forcing the company to revoke Huawei’s Android license, leaving it unclear whether future Huawei phones could run the OS and access key services like the Play Store. Reports have broken Huawei plans to release the phone with its “backup” Hongmeng OS later this year earlier today.
Strategy Analytics said that thanks to strong sales in China, Huawei has been able to maintain its position as the second-largest handset manufacturer. The report emphasized that the Huawei P30 Pro, Honor 20-series and Nova 5-series phones are key players in the local Huawei market.

Strategy Analytics said the company could run into difficulties in the near future, warning investors: “Huawei’s prospects in overseas markets remain gloomy and cloudy, given the continued tensions between the US and China and the growing regulatory uncertainty in major Western countries.”
This may mean bad news for the highly anticipated Huawei Mate 30 company. The Mate 30 is rumored to be Huawei’s next flagship phablet. It was originally supposed to keep up with the Samsung Galaxy Note 10 for the best Android phablet crown later this year. But since the information about the ban on sales disappeared from Mate 30, it remains uncertain when it will enter the western market.
Galaxy Note 10 is due to arrive on Wednesday this week. The assumption of the phablet suggests that there will be options for Note 10 Plus and 5G, as well as the base phablet. All three are expected to have a redesigned design with front-facing cameras with holes in the upper right. Some speculations suggest that they will have improved S Pen styluses and improved versions of the triple camera that debuted in the Samsung Galaxy S10.
