It seems Huawei will be presenting its next smartphone line at the Mobile World Congress in Barcelona next week. The Huawei P30 Pro and P30 will be the successors to the Huawei P20 and P20 Pro, which were unveiled at the industry event last year.
According to recent rumors, Huawei plans to introduce a triple camera, first introduced on the Huawei P30 with the Huawei P20 Pro, while the more expensive P30 Pro comes with a completely new setting that offers more scalable options.
Huawei P30, Huawei P30 Pro: leaks, rumors and everything we already know
The Huawei’s P30 Pro will miss one of the best features of the Galaxy S10
The new camera will most likely use the new Sony 6-series sensor, perhaps 1 / 1.8 “38-megapixel IMX607, and it’s unclear how many cameras will be installed on the Huawei’s P30 Pro to enable the zoom feature.
The P20 Pro introduces a triple optical zoom with three camera settings. Huawei also used the camera to take advantage of new features for storing photos in difficult conditions, especially in low-light conditions at night.
Oppo has already announced plans to introduce a 10x optical zoom for the rear view camera of its next flagship smartphone, which will also be announced at the MWC.
The latest whispering was provided by Huawei employees who allegedly used technical samples of the unannounced P30 phones. Both devices reportedly have OLEDs. Last year, Huawei had reserved an OLED panel for the smartphone version Pro.
The move to OLED was forced by the decision to move the fingerprint scanner from the back of the phone under the glass display. According to GSMArena, the optical fingerprint sensor on the display only works with OLED panels.
When you switch to the fingerprint scanner on the display, no face recognition system is required on the front of the phone. Therefore, the notch will nourish and resemble the OnePlus 6T, a smaller, teardrop-like notch.
Elsewhere, the Huawei P30 and P30 Pro will be featured on the flagship Kirin 980 chipset announced last year at the IFA, along with 8GB of RAM for an entry-level model and 12GB of P30 Pro RAM.
The last touch within the company depends on the screen size planned for the Huawei P30 line. It is said that the P30 has a 6.1-inch OLED display larger than the P20’s 5.8-inch LCD screen and the same physical size as its predecessor.
In the meantime, the Huawei P30 Pro will rise to 6.5 inches, compared to the 6.1-inch OLED used last year for the P20 Pro.
Charging the Huawei Mate 20 Pro is reportedly still limited to 22.5 watts, while charging 40 watts faster. The P30 has a 3.5mm headphone jack, but the P30 Pro does not.
