After announcing its departure from the Indian market a few months ago, HTC re-entered the market and introduced a new affordable phone: HTC Wildfire X. This is the first phone from the revival of the outdated and legendary Wildfire series, a great success in the past. But will she be able to face stiff competition in the same segment?
HTC will not be easy to increase sales of this device and to see if it has a chance against major brands or not, we decided to compare it with two amazing entry-level devices released last year. period. We mean Samsung Galaxy A10s and Realme 3i: both appeared on the market a few days ago and look very promising. Let’s work together if Wildfire X has the potential to defeat them.

Spillways, narrow bezels and high screen-to-body ratio. All amazing designs become lightweight entry-level devices. Their bodies are made of polycarbonate. Realme 3i and HTC Wildfire X look better because they have a slightly higher screen-to-body ratio and more complex backs with patterns and reflections. Which one you choose for one of these two phones depends on your taste. I would choose Wildfire X because it is thinner and lighter.

This is basically a draw, as you will not notice much difference between the displays of these phones. All of them have the same diagonal, the panel of the same type, the same pixel density and the same resolution. So do not concentrate so much on the display. In any case, you will get a sufficient panel if you think that these are very affordable phones.
Technical features and software
Realme 3i outperforms the hardware because it has a much more powerful chipset. We are talking about the Helio P60, which is faster and better suited for multitasking than the Helio P22, which can be found on both HTC Wildfire X and Samsung Galaxy A10. The only advantage of HTC Wildfire X is that it comes in a variant with more internal memory: up to 128 GB. We would not choose the Samsung Galaxy A10, because it has only 2 GB of RAM. Android 9 Pie is ready to use.
HTC Wildfire X, undoubtedly, has the most interesting department of rearview cameras, as it is the only one with triple camera settings and one of the few entry-level mobile phones that have 2x optical zoom. We also like the pixel size of the main sensor, which should help capture more light in the dark. But when it comes to the front camera, Realme 3i must win this competition due to the higher resolution – 13 megapixels and 1080p video recording.
Realme 3i has an impressive capacity of 4230 mAh, and although we have not tested the batteries of these phones, we are sure that in many cases they work longer. Samsung Galaxy A10s comes in second, which still has a good 4000 mAh battery, while HTC Wildfire X is disappointed with only 3300 mAh. However, this does not mean that the battery life will be bad.
Prices and availability of the Samsung Galaxy A10 have not yet been announced, but we know that HTC Wildfire X is available from 150 euros, and Realme 3i in the basic version costs 100 euros. Realme 3i offers a cheaper price, but is the best alternative to its competitors, unless you need the most amazing rear view cameras (in this case, HTC Wildfire X). If you’re not interested in cameras, the Samsung Galaxy A10s is a valid alternative to the HTC Wildfire X as it offers a much larger battery. In general, however, it makes no sense to choose it instead of Realme 3i.
