Frameless smartphones HTC Desire 12 and Desire 12+ presented officially
HTC has officially announced two new smartphones named HTC Desire 12 and Desire 12+. Both smartphones are made in a fashionable now frameless design.
The older model HTC Desire 12+ also received a dual main camera and a fingerprint scanner on the rear panel.
HTC Desire 12+ is equipped with a 6-inch IPS-display with a resolution of HD + (720 x 1440 pixels) and an aspect ratio of 18: 9, cameras at 13 + 2 Mp and 8 Mp. The hardware base was the eight-core Qualcomm Snapdragon 450 processor, 3 GB of operational and 32 GB of internal flash memory with the ability to expand microSD cards up to 2 TB.
The battery capacity is 2965 mAh with fast charging Qualcomm Quick 3.0. The dimensions are 158.2 x 76.6 x 8.4 mm, and the weight is 157.5 grams. The smartphone runs Android 8.0 Oreo operating system with the HTC Sense shell.
The HTC Desire 12 features a 5.5-inch diagonal display, and 13 and 5-megapixel cameras, a quad-core MediaTek MT6739 processor, and a 2730 mAh battery. Memory configurations are available 2 + 16 and 3 + 32 GB.
Smartphone HTC the Desire 12 is available for pre-order at a price of 185 to 199 euros, and HTC Desire 12+ – from 235 to 249 euros, depending on the region. Sales should begin in April 2018.
Also, the HTC is preparing for HTC U12 and as we already know, the smartphone HTC U12 will not get a cutout at the top of the screen, which will highlight it against the background of most of the flagships of 2018. However, the cutout can get the model U12 Life. No details, unfortunately not. Considering that earlier rumors claimed that U12 will remain the only flagship this year, U12 Life will clearly not just be a slightly simplified version of it.
