There are also models A2141, A2147, A2158, A2179, A2182, and A2251. According to the AppleInsider website, all of them are described as “portable computers”.
The application states that the model belongs to the MacBook Pro series, but what size the display will be is not yet known. Judging by the indirect signs in the illustration, AppleInsider assumes that it will be a model with a 13-inch screen.
It is possible that customers are waiting for updates and lines of MacBook, MacBook Air, and other MacBook Pro. One of the very plausible versions is the quick presentation of a MacBook Pro with a 16-inch display because rumors have been circulating for a long time. It is assumed that this will be Samsung OLED-display or TFT LCD-display with a resolution of 3072×1920 pixels.
New Apple computers can present during the expected September iPhone announcement.
New iPhone will get a Touch ID with the onscreen scanner?
According to rumors, the new iPhone instead of supporting face recognition Face ID will receive a subscreen fingerprint scanner. This is the first model of this type in the Apple lineup. However, “new” is not necessarily the “best”. The model will be designed for more economical buyers.
According to the site Geeky Gadgets, the option is designed for a Chinese audience and may be presented this year. According to insiders, this will “reduce costs”. The fact is that the laser module used in face recognition using Face ID costs several hundred yuan (equivalent to several thousand rubles).
Earlier there were rumors that Apple will introduce a new iPhone XR, iPhone XS and iPhone XS MaX with Face ID face recognition technology and without fingerprint scanners at the end of this year. Perhaps some “simplified” models are aimed only at the People’s Republic of China, although Apple has never resorted to such tactics before.
Samsung Galaxy Note10 can use DepthVision Lens technology
Samsung has registered the DepthVision Lens trademark with the British Patent Office. It remains only to assume what exactly is a novelty. However, class 9, in which the trademark is registered, includes cameras for smartphones, 3D scanning technology, software for cameras and similar solutions.
According to GizmoChina, the new technology can be presented in smartphones of the Galaxy Note10 series, the announcement of which will take place next month. It seems that it is associated with 3D scanning and can be used in combination with a ToF sensor (two of these are expected in the top-of-the-line model).
It is possible that DepthVision Lens is the name of the 3D camera function. Recently, Samsung has registered another trademark associated with 3D and the possible use of ToF sensors. What is actually presented under the Make & Play 3D label is not yet known.
