EMUI 10 based on Android Q: First Look on the Huawei’s future phones
Despite rumors about the abandonment of Huawei from Android in favor of its own operating system, the company does not stop working on adapting the next version of the “green robot” for its devices. Prior to the official announcement, a beta version of EMUI 10 based on Android Q hit the network.
The firmware can already be installed on the flagship Huawei P30 Pro, which made it possible to evaluate the changes and the new user interface.

The beta version of EMUI 10 was made public by the FunkyHuawei service, which is engaged in unlocking smartphones from a Chinese company. Now the firmware is available to the general public, and the developers from the XDA website have made instructions for installing it on the Huawei P30 Pro.
The screenshots show that in EMUI 10, the icons of standard applications were redrawn. There are also some cosmetic changes inside the programs themselves. Probably, many still do not know anything or they are “under the hood.” Several users who installed the firmware noted a significant increase in the speed of their smartphones after EMUI 9.1 and Android 9.0.
It is expected that EMUI 10 will officially be presented along with the flagship line Mate 30 in early autumn. Then it becomes known about all the innovations.
Please note: Huawei has stopped providing official bootloader unlock codes for its devices. Thus, the loaders of their devices cannot be unlocked, which means that users can not root or install custom ROMs.xda-developers
