New Apple iPhone 7S and iPhone 7S Plus 2017 Coming With A11 Chipset, Price, Release Date and Characteristics

Apple iPhone 7S will become thicker due to new material. It is expected that in September, Apple will demonstrate just three new smartphones: 4,7- and 5,5-inch Apple iPhone 7S and iPhone 7S Plus, as well as 5.8-inch Apple iPhone 8 with OLED-screen. The latter has already been familiar with the numerous renderers updated design, but the novelties of the Apple iPhone 7S series are still very little known.

German blog Giga Apple, referring to its own sources in Foxconn, said that in new smartphones Apple 7S and iPhone the 7S Plus, the thickness of the case will increase by at least 0.1 mm due to the use of a glass coating on the rear panel.

The previous increase in thickness occurred two years ago when the Apple iPhone 6S “grew stout” by 0.2 mm due to the integration of the panel for 3D Touch. This year, the transition to the glass rear panel is motivated by the need to implement support for wireless charging. Thus, the thickness of the Apple 7S will be 7.21 mm against 7.1 mm in the Apple iPhone 7 and iPhone 6S. The width will increase from 67 mm to 67.14 mm, height – from 138.31 mm to 138.44 mm.

It is expected that the Apple 7S will debut in three colors: black, silver and gold.
